Community Manager - Rogers, MN

Type: Full Time     |     Hours/Schedule: 40 per week     |     Start Date: TBD  

Job Description

Vincent Woods Apartments is a brand new 168 unit luxury apartment community currently under construction in Rogers, opening February 1, 2020. We are seeking an experienced Community Manager who will be ready to start with us the end of October or beginning of November.

Responsibilities

  • As the Community Manager, you will be responsible for a variety of duties and roles as the building goes from the construction phase, the lease-up, the opening, and the continual ongoing management of the fully completed building.
  • Primary focus on the lease-up of the building and obtaining occupancy goals.
  • Being the liaison for management to work closely with the construction foreman.
  • Marketing, community outreach, and advertising.
  • This role will transition into a supervisory role as additional staff is added and the building opens. At that time, the community manager will perform tasks such as  resident retention, maintenance coordination, conducting inspections, monitoring cleaning and other vendors, ensuring the common areas and grounds are well maintained, coordinating turnovers, and other tasks as assigned with the Community Manager role.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Previous experience with apartment property management.
  • Proficient with AppFolio property management software, or other similar management software.
  • General office, bookkeeping and sales skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Physical ability to move around property as needed to perform inspections, address emergencies and perform other property operations as needed.

Community Manager - Morris, MN

Job Description

If you are a self-starter, organized, and customer service- driven person then this job may be perfect for you! We are looking for a full time manager for our 88–unit apartment community in Morris, MN. New owners and management is building a great team!

Responsibilities

  • Supervise property staff, which includes maintenance and caretakers
  • Ability to perform responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Completing Section 8 paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Effective enforcement of the community rules, lease, and rent collection policy.
  • Coordinate reoccurring inspections.
  • Maintaining the physical appearance of the property.
  • Market, lease, and process paperwork efficiently to maximize occupancy.
  • Maintain a professional business environment with excellent customer service.
  • Coordinate apartment turnovers.
  • Periodic light maintenance duties.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Previous site management preferred but not required.
  • Proficient with a computer and general business software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in staff supervision preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.

Maintenance Technician - Morris, MN

Job Description

We are growing and need to add friendly and talented individuals to our team. Seeking a dedicated individual that enjoys a fast paced and positive work environment to be an on-site property maintenance technician. This positon will service Nature’s Edge Apartments which is an 88-unit community. 

Responsibilities

Duties may include (this list is not all inclusive):

  • Appliance repair and install.
  • Painting and drywall repair.
  • Electrical.
  • Plumbing.
  • Boiler maintenance.
  • Snow removal.
  • General repair and carpentry.
  • Servicing occupied and vacant apartments.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to cost effectively analyze work needed and problem solve.
  • Great customer service and comfort interacting people throughout each day.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
  • Live within 20 minutes of the property.
  • Available for being on call for after-hours emergencies.
  • Experience preferred but not necessary.
  • Effective time management.
  • Self-starter.
  • Strong communication skills.
